The Greene County High School music department will present its fall vocal concert Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 7:30 pm in the school auditorium.
The treble choir and mixed choirs will perform, as well as students planning to audition Oct. 22 for the All-State Chorus. All are invited to attend.
Also, vocal music director Dave Heupel congratulates Josey Weaver and Jacob Hanson for being selected to participate in the 2016 Opus Honor Choirs. Josey will sing in the 7-8 grade treble choir and Jacob will sing in the 9th grade mixed choir. Their selection was based on a taped audition.
The Opus Honor Choirs will sing on the Iowa State University Nov. 17.
